April 22 is Earth Day, which means it’s time to get outside and enjoy the world around us.
A new project from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Nature Conservancy hopes to combine the beauty of nature and the country’s landscape with Americans’ selfie obsession. Throughout the month of April, the two are encouraging people to go outside and take a photo of themselves “in front of a bud, flower, tree or other blooming plant” and post it on Flickr or on social media sites using the #NatureSelfie hashtag.
