Red Carpet Green Dress Brings Sustainable Fabrics To The Oscars

The red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards was filled with stunning couture, but perhaps the most important gown of them all was worn by actress Olga Kurylenko.

What made Kurylenko’s fabulous Oscars look so special was the materials used to make it. Designed by Alice Elia, a student at Parisian fashion school ESMOD, the dress was made with with hand-dyed organic silk as part of Red Carpet Green Dress, an initiative to combine fashion and sustainability.
