From Japan to Washington, D.C., cherry trees are in bloom all over the Northern Hemisphere. The light pink buds usually open now, in early spring, for displays of crazy gorgeous proportions.
D.C.’s iconic cherry blossoms may suffer seasonal damage due to this week’s winter storm. In other spots, though, blooms are starting off strong. Check out these photos from this and previous seasons in all their glory.
